The Victory Vocational Program

Serving Ages 14-22

The Victory Center’s (TVC) Victory Vocational (VV) program is a center-based program for children ages 14 to 22 whose clinical diagnosis falls along the autism spectrum or related disabilities.

The program focuses on teaching functional skills that will allow the individual to be as successful as possible when he or she transitions to adulthood.

Targeted skills include functional communication, social skills, functional academics, vocational, and daily living skills.

These skills will be taught using the principles of  Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA), and will include instruction in the classroom, living skills lab, and community settings in order to promote generalization.

The program offers students a variety of experiences  including community-based instruction (CBI), job training, and job placements .

Victory Vocational offers a two-to-one, child-to-staff ratio, and is staffed by qualified professionals in the areas of behavior analysis, education, and other related services.

Each student will be assessed using the Functional Skills Assessment and will have an individualized skill  acquisition program that meets his or her needs as well as interests.

Areas that will be addressed include:

  • Appropriate school and community behavior
  • Leisure skills
  • Social skills
