The primary goal of all teaching and treatment activities is to enable children and youths to remain in family environments, and to prepare them for public school attendance or productive work.
When young people demonstrate readiness in departure from The Victory School, individualized transition programs are designed to provide gradual introductions to new schools or career settings.
Follow-up consultation is provided to parents, school personnel, and work supervisors as needed to ensure young people’s continued success in community settings.
This is currently done for former students and families and will be an integral part of any future adult programming.
