The Victory School is looking for volunteers for the summer (June through August). The school uses Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Verbal Behavior. The school day is from 8:30 to 2:30; however, we are flexible with time and days. Teachers will be 2:1 with the students and we are looking for volunteers to help assist the teachers. This is a great opportunity to expand your experience in dealing with children with autism.
Duties would include assisting the teachers in gathering items for the child’s programs and activities, monitoring the students as well as attending a number of field trips throughout the summer (twice a week). Background checks will be done on all applicants. Knowing Sign Language is a plus, but not a necessity.
For your time and dedication, we will gladly sign off on volunteer hours and/or provide recommendation letters.
